I think it's funny that the speaker is a big enough douchebag to think that's a funny comment to make at a public event like that. Completely made an ass of himself and has no clue.
The speaker is his teammate, they shared the award, he was giving his acceptance speech first. The award is for the team that gives up the least goals allowed or something and they are the two goalies on the team.
Yeah, and that joke is vaguely funny in the locker room, as if the "I fuck your wife / girlfriend" joke didn't get old in the 8th grade. On a show like that with kids and parents and friends and wives watching, it's a douchebag move. The guy looks like a complete dickhead for saying it, and he thinks it was cool. That's the funny part. Why not throw in a "that's what she said" when giving your grandmother's eulogy?
