Brewer Notes

I listen to The Big 1070, Lucas & Lapay driving into work. Nice little progrum if you havent heard it before. Every friday they have Craig Cashon on talking brewer bits. This Friday he drops some real insider knowledge that had me a saying hummm.
– The reason Yo-Go will be forfitting the rest of the season is because he has a "knee issue". *butt hole clentches up*
– The reason Jodi Gerut sucked and never played up until a month ago is because he didnt want to come to Milwaukee and had a real attitude. As soon as he lost some of the attitude is when he started to see more playing time *extends middle finger, points it at Gayrrots!*
– After Gerut hits a grand slam yesterday to take the split with the cubs, he calls Gerut a, and I quote "COLOSAL DISSAPOINTMENT!" A colosal dissapointment is pretty harsh, and never would of expected that from Uncle Craiggers.
– He also went on to say that if the Brewers want to trade Fielder they have to think what would Pujols get if he was traded. I am not sure if Fielder is near Pujols but  you have to ask yourself, "Could he be the next Pujols or close to it" Tough question but I think you have to make the case for it. Which I am sure Scott Boras already has that penciled into his things to do for 2010 list.

Bad news on YoGa.

How could anybody be "colossally disappointed" by Gerut? I had barely heard of him before he came to town. It's not like we traded for Jeter and he batted .120 for the season.

I will hate to see Fielder go, but with Boras as his agent and the numbers he's putting up, the writing is on the wall. Get something for him while you can.

First of all, nice nicknames for your gay boys as always. Second i hate prince and dispise Albert takes it in the Pujols, but to compare the two, come the fuck on. Dont get me wrong, other then avg. Prince is having a outstanding year, and if not for your crews record he might be in the mix for MVP, but pujols is in a league of his own, the guy has put up fantastic numbers for nine straight years, mvp's, homerun titles, hell he even flirts with the triple crown every year. So untill prince does this for a few more seasons, i dont think to compare would be fair.

That being said, im almost positive prince will end up in boston, sooner or later. I do think they should get a fair amount in return, but they have to be smart about it. That may prove hard, if the crew are having a good year next year and are in the hunt, they might want to keep going, thus keeping him and getting nothing. I think no matter what he is gone, so i just feel (not a fan or know a lot bout the crew) That they need to start the talks at the winter meetings and get the ball rolling
GO CUBS, c-weed's gay

A few things. Yovanni was shut down because he has thrown 186 innings this year after throwing like 35 last year. His knee may have been acting up, but no need to put extra stress on that arm. We need him for 200 innings next year.

We traded Gwynn for Gerut so i agree with TK I dont see how he could be a dissapointment. Instead be dissapointed when he is the starting CF next year.

Pujols has never hit 50 bombs though he could this year. Prince is close to that type of offensive talent. Pujols is a better defender and baserunner, and I dont think many would argue that Prince is better, but they are certainly neck in neck in terms of offense. Prince's power is the best in the league IMO.

I can see trading him, it does make some sense, but to who and for what? Boston doesnt need a DH really with the acquisition of V-Mart. A deal for Matt Cain seems unlikely becuase he is not under team control for any longer than prince. I think if we trade him we want 4 near major league ready prospects two of which have to be pitchers. I just dont know too many teams that would do that deal. We will see though, but I am almost gurantee he is with the ball club all of next season.
