As you have probably heard by now, Superbowl winning Steeler QB, Ben Roehtlisberger, is being accused of Sexual Assault outside a night club in Georgia. Big Ben has hired the same lawyer that kept the Ravens Ray Lewis out of prison when he was with a group of guys that stabbed and killed a man. Now I don't pretend to know all the details of what happened, and for all I know Big Ben did sexually assault this poor college student. However, I do have an opinion for all those people that say, Roethy should have known better, and not put himself in this situation.
I have no idea what it is like to be rich in famous. But I am guessing it is pretty damn cool. Instead of sitting at home playing Call of Duty until the wee hours of the morning, you can call up your buddies, meet at some college bar, kick everyone that doesn't have a huge rack out of the club, and have some good ol fashion fun. It is so easy for a person to say man Ben should have used better judgement. I keep hearing "nothing good happens after 12 AM", "these athletes need to start using there heads", you cheat on your wife, you should expect to get McNaired". In my mind Ben Roethlisberger was doing what any guy in that position would do. Instead of being at home updating his twitter account, he was out cashing in on that fame. Now please don't take this as me trying to say it is ok to sexually assualt a women if you are rich and famous. I am not saying that at all, what I am saying is that these types of situations are unavoidable for proffesional athletes. You think a 2 week stint in rehab is going to cure Tiger woods obsession with strange? I sure as hell don't. Yeah i know he has a super model at home, a beautiful family, all that jazz. Yeah but he is Tiger Woods, quite possibly the 2nd most powerful black man in this country and with that comes a sense, of I can do whatever the fuck I want. You know why he feels that way? Because he can, he is fucking Tiger woods. Give me what he has, and I will have seven families in five different states all more beautiful than the next. People expect these guys to learn from the mistakes of others, and I am telling you that is impossible.
Now Big Ben has a big mess on his hands, and it is probably a good idea for him to lay low for a while. But once the smoke clears, I fully expect him to be back at the college bars with the boys, enjoying everything that comes with being a Superbowl winning QB. I sure as hell know I would.

Sure, Tasty, but don't you think there's a reason that Big Ben has been accused of this twice and most rich and famous people - most NFL players - never have been accused of sexual assault?
I don't know the facts, either, but I do believe that these things go down the following way:
1. When you're a star, there are some chicks who want to sex you up, just because you're a star. These are women who might literally say, "If you have 10 minutes, I'd really like to blow you." If you're single and want to take advantage of that, so be it.
2. When you're a star, there are some chicks that don't want to sex you up, but when they see you in public, they are suprised, it's fun, if you give them attention they find it exciting, they do want to party with you, be seen with you, roll in the VIP room with you, drink your Cristal and get a taste of the life. These are usually younger, more naive chicks.
I know two chicks like this who used to jock a truly famous (older) musician and his crew in Madison, go to their shows, talk to them after the show, get drinks from them, etc. Then, one night, they get invited back to somebody's house for a "party." These naive chicks just thought they were invited to the party because they were so cool, they were "in" with the band. Wheeeeeeee! It got a little ugly when these guys were trying to cash in the chips and the girls were saying no way. The guys knew what usually happened when chicks drank their booze, did their drugs and came to their after-bar. It became a big, "why are you here then?" standoff. It didn't make the news because the guys backed off and said, fine, hit the road. If they had put some hands or cocks in the wrong place, the police would have been called.
What I honestly think happens, maybe not in Ben's situation but in a lot of them, is that these assholes get used to banging every slut they want every time they want and they forget that not all women are whores. Some women who don't just fuck any famous guy who walks into the bar will still give that person attention, be excited to meet that person, be too excited to turn down an invitation to go to another club or to a "party" at the hotel, etc. They might even want to make out with the famous guy a bit. But, when they put the brakes on and say, "no, you can't stick that in there, we just met 20 minutes ago," these guys no longer know how to take "no" for an answer and they cross the line by pushing it too far.
The press and the critics say, "why would you go to his house if you didn't want to blow him and his entourage? You knew the deal, you slutty jock-chaser." Um, maybe because she meets new guys every weekend and goes to after-bar parties all the time, and never blows anybody until the 3rd date.
I think a lot of these girls really think it would be fun to get to know and date a guy like Big Ben or a Tiger Woods, and to have a rich and famous BOYFRIEND, but they don't necessarily want to be the slut who blew that guy in the alley behind a club. Meanwhile, some famous guys don't want to notice the difference.
In Tiger's situation, very different, look at the themes. He's not accused of assaulting anybody. A lot of these women weren't women that Tiger "hooked up with." They thought he was going to leave his wife for them. They thought he was in love with them. Why? He fucking told them that. That's way different than doing what you want with whomever is willing.

You made some really good points. I dont want to make it seem like I on Big Ben's side in this, because if he did not take "no" for an answer than I think he should get fully prosecuted. However I will say that a lot of these positions that you often here the critics say are avoidable are just not. Like you said these guys feel entitled to everything because they have everything. So often times, especially when booze is involved, the lines get blurried. I can completely see the situation you laid out happening, and I think that probably happens all the time and never makes any press, so I agree where there is smoke often times there is fire.
I guess the bigger point I was trying to make, and why I used Tiger Woods as an example is that these guys are just doing what just about anyone would do if put in there situation. I just hate turning on PTI or any of the other talking heads and listening to them tell each other, "when are these guys going to learn?" They are not going to learn, because it is exactly what any rich 25 year old with a cock is going to be doing in the same situation.
I guess I thought the fact that athletes got drunk and fucked just about anything they want was common knowledge. It just seems like lately a lot of people are being outraged when this happened. It has been happening since the beginning of time. Lets not act so surprised when a great guy like Big Ben puts himself in a situation like this.

You guys both make great points, but ulitamitly they both lead to the same thing. We dont have the facts and we dont know how it is cause we are nit rich and famous. There have been issues like this forever and always will be, its the media that decides which one gets talked about and which doesnt.
If ben wants to party, then party, just know what your getting into
If tiger wants to fuck, then dont get married, I think every athlete should call up Derrick Jeter and ask if how he has done it, and do exactly what he says. This guy has been banging the hottest tail for years, and you have NEVER once heard his name or read about him fucking up, I mean this guy lives in New York Fucking city, where shit happens every minute. However or whatever this guy does is fucking genius.
Also another great idea for these guys is do what (i think it was bod dylan) did and have a lawyer write up a wavier saying you cant be charged or arrested for dicking me and make any girl that wants to fuck you sign it
I think the main point to be made here is if you have tons of money you have the right to bang anyone all day and all night. But from what it sounds like is Benny may have forced himself. Yeah we dont know the facts but come on. The first one was easy to dissmiss, bitch was flat out crazy. He has a history of making poor decisions. Random accusations can arise but if your out partying you should be aware that you are a mega star and people will accuse you of rape or what ever to squeeze a dime. So only fuck the ones that will give you head in front of other people, that way everyone can see she is a skank, or wait either way its too risky. I am going to side with harper or bob dylan i guess, make them sign a contract then start forcing your weenus in her but kobe style.
